5. Whats your favorite restauraunt? A little Tavern where I live called John's Main Event. The best Chicken sandwich in the world.

9. Why are you filling out these questions? I like on-line communities and its a great way to get to know people.

11. What do you like to do in your spare time? Water ski and just hang out on the pontoon boat for a booze cruise!!

12. Were did you get your MFT name? I was a little unruly as a child so I sort of recieved the nickname from my parents.

It's nice to meet you also FroggyFox! I was a little surprised at how young a lot of the members are and the amount of knowledge that they possess. Some definately have knowledge beyond their years!

Thats probably one of the comments we get the most around here...there was an "how old are you" thread awhile ago and its amazing. There are some members who if I never heard how old they are I never would have guessed they were in their teens.

Of course its also important to note that some of the more 'seasoned' members just dont publicize their age

my name is Jay. I'm 40. I live with my wife in an apartment in Eugene, Oregon. We have two cats, and a third that shows up for food and shelter. I own a '93 honda Civic Si with 225,000 miles on it, and no sign of slowing down! I work for the University of Oregon in the power plant, making steam, electricity and chilled water. I do water chemistry tests almost everyday. Maybe a desert pupfish could live in boiler water, but I wouldn't want to try it.
we have 3 tanks, 10, 20, 50 gallons. all have plants.

My name is Peter and I live in Little Beirut.

How old are you? I am 22 and a libra. That should explain why I want to pack something like 80 different species into one tank.

What are your living arrangements? I live in a double studio in downtown Portland. That means you have to go through the bedroom to get to the kitchen. I've been doing this two years now and wouldn't have it any other way.

What do you drive? I ride a bike. It's ADVancED!

What is your favorite drink? I used to like a good Mojito (alcoholic, see restaurant) but these days it's some of this killer suntea I make on the roof (better with lighter fluid )

What is your favorite restaurant? Sweetwater's Jam House had some killer Carribean with Grade A BBQ spare ribs and the biggest rum bar in town. They closed about a year ago and it's still a very sore subject. Don't bring it up.

How many fish do you own right now? Um... my brother .. he .. took... I'm such a poser.

What is your newest pet? I've had this fat shiba inu for about two years now. Do dogs count?

It's 9AM on a typical Tuesday morning ... What are you doing? Waking up. I've got a class in alternative medicine at 2PM.

Why are you filling out these questions? I was worried that people would think I was a chick. (see question 12)

What kind of music do you listen to? Everything including rap, opera, and country. Lord knows you can't be a wildland firefighter if you can't at least tolerate country. The better answer is that I was raised on Blues and Folk and I prefer Metal, usually the melodic stuff like TOOL.

What do you do in your spare time? That's a bigun. I try to keep in shape with hiking in the mountains. Rock climbing is my new thing. I bike alot and can throw some BONES. I try to stay politically active and in Portland it's real easy to get your head busted by a cop for supporting a cause (and there are so many here, hence the HW Bush administration labeled us Little Beirut).

Ever been outside your own country? I've been to Germany and Canada. I'm trying to get to Tibet but I probably won't make it before the Three Gorges Dam.
