Exclamation AHHHH GUPPIES! PLEASE MATE!!!!

please mate my guppies!
my guppies won't mate! this is because when they are maturing from the fry, the time where you can sex them, don't seperate the males from the females or they will grow on that stage unaccustomed of the opposite sex! i only seperated mine because they fin nipped him!!! don't forget!

how long have you been trying to breed them? even though they were seperated they still should mate. is it your male or female (or heaven forbid both) that arn't interested? if you have been trying for a while and they still dont wanna know each other i would suggust buying (or borrowing) a male that hasn't been sperated. that why the females wont have a choice in the matter and hopefully your other male will catch on to what he's meant to be doing! good luck and let me know how it goes

thats realy starnge that they dont chase the females arounde especially for the one u just brought. i supposed just wait and see if your female fattens up soon because sometimes the males wont chase the females if shes already pregant, they will wait until shes dropped and then start following her around again

Try feeding them live brine shrimp, blood worms, also try giving them a water change with water alittle cooler than the tank.

yea i also agree with feeding them some live food and a water change. maybe add some peat to the water to lower the pH a little as well.

What do you mean when you say "dropped"?

i see, i see well thats not going to happen anytime soon cuz i just added some new plants and the pair would chew on the roots to make the leaves turn brown, then they'd finish off the brown leaves and do the process again, but for some odd reason, its only THAT pair that does it! I have a seperator so it divides pair and my other Guppies, and my other ones don't even chew on the plant unless it turns brown itself!
