Default guppies just dont quit do they?

Just walked from the livingroom to the computer, and happened to look in one of my tanks, and what did I see? At least 11 newborn baby gups!
I didnt even know any of the girls were pregnant! On top of that 2 of the girls have a slight case of ick now, and my wifes male fantail is dead He was a long lived fish, who probably died from too much of a good thing (all the girls), But, what a way to go
I started raising the temp up a bit, and have no ich meds, gonna slap some salt in there, and hope it will help until tomorrow afternoon. Maybe some melafix...couldnt hurt nothing I guess.

PS anyone want baby guppies? LOL

Shawn

I had a bad experience with guppies. The female guppy (aka "China") gave birth to 17 babies and the next day the barbaric little babies had taken nips out of both of the parents and killed them both.

But good luck with your babies.

Default Update!

The ick looks like it went away, and I have baby guppys everywhere!
This is the 4th (at least) batch of babies I have...time to try to net the little guys and put them in with the 8 week, 7 week, 4 week, ??week babys.
Anyone know how to spay/neuter guppies? LOL
None of them looked near ready to have babies. Weird.
Shawn

Just looked in the 29 gal and saw about 12 of what I think are cory eggs. They are sticking to the sides of the tank.
Will it ever stop???
I love it, must be doing something right
