|  Shy platies Is it normal when you take female platies out of the tank for the males to be overly shy? Mine will not come out of all my caves and hiding spots. My swordtail wont even come out. Any suggestions? Andrea |

| Never encountered it. Might be lonely. Ive noticed some fish hide when theyre lonely. My Sarpae is alone because i refuse to put more sarpae's into it due to thier habit of fin nipping. ANd he hides a lot. I call him the tank ghost. Is it eating and otherwsie acting healthy?

| might be velvet. they are hiding from the lights. turn the lights off and get some meds. they'll be fine
