| i bought two orange platys. they were both really fat and bloated when i got them. they both have what i think are gravid spots, but im not sure. do yall think they are pregnant or do they allways look like that? |

| Platies always have gravid spots if they are female. If you purchased them from a pet store that kept the males with the females, it's safe to assume they're pregnant. Whether you'll see any fry or not is questionable, many times the mothers will eat the fry before you even know they're there.

| I think gravid spots are more near the anal fin. You might be seeing their... guts... my orange (and red) platies are so you can see their "guts".

| oh ok im not sure i just want some babys so i went to petco and they picked me out 3 pregnant guppys
