| Possibly, they could be old or not used to my water? I got them from a friend whos tank was dirty as in not cycled ever in every 5 months and has about 50 guppies and wanted to give them away, but he had no idea how old they were, are they maybe not used to by cycled tank? |

| ah sorry- no one replied ot you :S
Um I don't think that could be it. There is no 'getting used to' and uncycled tank, especially not to the point of preferring it over a cycled one. In comparison that would be like a person drinking dirty water with contaminates in it, and then getting a glass of clean water. They aren't going just get over whatever is in the water and then get sick when normal stuff is drunk, you know what I mean?
How is the situation now? How is everything doing?

| They are all gone now. except for a female I got from the store and a male. And my tank is 100 % cycled too. All I have left in my tank now is 2 guppies, 15 baby guppies and about 10 platys. |

| When you say 10 platys, do you mean fry or adults? If they're adults...then that's way overstocked! Sorry about your losses though...
