Default Breeding Mollies and Platies

What are signs of pregnate platies and mollies!! I have 1 pair of sunset platiues and 1 pair of balloon mollies!!

Swollen ,red or brown abdomen basically(the fish themselves will seem bloated).... sometimes you will be able to see some fry in the fish, or somthin that looks like fry... lol

They will get what is called a gravid spot in their belly. Its a dark spot by their anal fin. You can probably become a pretty good judge by looking carfully at the fish in a pet store and observing differences.

try doing what Vyache said cause its the only ways youll see for yourself with a lot of fish to inspect.

On that note, how can you tell when mollies are just about to give birth within a couple of days to move molly into a breeding net. I was able to rescue 5 babies a few days ago, very lucky to even see them in main tank, but next time, would like to get more by having mother in net away from other swordtails and mollies. Thanks
