Default American Flag Killifish

Anyone have any experience with these fish. I am looking for something to eat algae, want to know of any personal experience. Thanks all.

I have them. To be honest, they're great algae eaters (hairy algaes, not flat algaes), but not good community fish. I've found them to be too aggressive for shy fish, but they get extremely stressed with anything slightly aggressive. They're awesome fish, but should really be in a species tank.

You'd be better off with Siamese algae eaters for your 29g tank, IMO.

Good suggestion, I will look into those, probably easier to find than anything I was looking at.

I had two of them for quite a while in a community tank. I really didn't see much aggression out of them except towards bottom dwellers like cory's. They got along well with barbs and rainbow fish. I don't think they'd do well with aggressive fish like chichlids. They were always munching on hair algae in my tank. They just up and died one day (both of them) and I have not seen them available at any of my LFS or I would replace them. I don't know why they died no other fish did and they were healthly looking and good eaters.
