Cool looking pics of the killies.
Can you share what is your tanksetup for them like?

I've got 2 clown killies (from 3) myself in a semi planted tank.
Do you know how to sex them?

The clown killies are in a little 1 quart Red Sea nano tank with the little filter it comes with(which I add floss and carbon to), the compact flourecent light which comes with it, a mix of Fine grade Flourite and river sand as substrate, and some plants(microsword and melon sword).

As for sexing, I was told that the males will be bigger, slightly more colorful, with a longer, more pointed anal and dorsal(?) fin..

Could be.. I believe this store gets their fish from Coast, but they get them from a number of other suppliers as well.

Have you got pics for the clown killies tank to share?

I'm considering to seperate my clown killies and have them in a tank with hornwort & java moss, fine lapis substrate at the bottom with minimal lighting. I read that they don't like bright tanks and the current tank they're residing in now is having a lights on period of 12hrs daily.

Default Clown killis

Hi,

I have some nice pics of this fish ( Epiplatys annulatus Monrovia)

catching fruitflies

just existing

These are terrific fish that are often imported as wild-caught specimins. They are easy to breed - if you always feed them artemia you'll soon have fry amongst your floating plants
