Default it looks like this forum is going downhill

This forum isn't too popular. There hasn't been a post in 30 days or more. Maybe it should be closed down

why close the killifish section?it's for anything killi or native,it's also a good place to talk about small coldwater fish.it's just not a big section because of the speical needs of killis.most people don't have the extra time to save bags of peat and fish eggs under the sink or in the closet.killis are time consuming fish unless you only intend to keep one seasons worth of fish as the live short seasonal lives.although some can live for up to 2 years under aqarium conditions.

Bit of an old post, but since it was here...

Yeah, does look like this area is dead. Problem is, every site I frequent has dead killie sections. Where do the killie people congregate? Any good forums that are actually active?

The killi specialists seem to end up congregating round the killi club sites where they buy their fish. Not too many people want to buy these fish unfortunately as they should be a lot more popular, especially with small tank owners.

killies are rarely found in many places, most fish stores, from my experience don't carry killifish, and fish that aren't kept aren't going to have as active of a general community, like on this site, and they(i'd say we, as i have one, but i am not active on the killifish sites) stick to their specialist sites and forums.
