Hi guys, we bought a couple of platy for my daughters tank.
we've noticed a dark spot at the back of the female, and she got really fat, fast! I thought she got a little square shape going on so I bought a breeding box for her, but after 3 days nothing happened but her shape has changed again, to a more rounded shape, so we let her back out of the box.
Now I'm not so sure she's pregnant anymore. But her dark spot has dropped lower and its tuned slightly pink in colour.
We've had the fish about a year now, we had 2 females and 2 males, since we thought she was pregnant we have left her in a tank by herself, and moved the others to a bigger tank. Please see the pictures and let me know. Any help would be appreciated!
