I think I found MFT.net by searching the web for aquarium info. I ran across this site when it had user opinions about fish and found the information subjective (I like to decide for myself). Throughout all the searches, I always came back to this site and I knew I had to join.

I've always found the members here to be very accomodating and friendly. Seven years later, I still find that we have a great cast of characters with minimal problems. To be honest, I'm still here because of the people that make up this community. Whether on the forums, in the chat, or on the phone, it really makes me happy knowing that practically everyone here has something to contribute and is a friend, even if I haven't 'met' you yet--our community is that great.

Id like to see the profiles fixed, New COOL smilies( like on MFK but more), More Profiles, and The thing on CF that you can post your tanks.

What I love about this place...the people. I have learned so very much, since joining up here. Everyone has been very helpful when I was in need of it. Then, at the times where someone needed help...they are always thankful when they get it. I've only seen maybe 3 "fights" on here...but that will happen everywhere. The one thing I like most about this place though...the HUGE amount of support that has been show to me, and my family while I'm deployed. It seemed like the entire population of MFT came together to show moral support. Some even agreed to send over care packages, and even if I never receive one...just the idea that they cared that much to even think about it...is enough for me. From what I've heard, alot of people have really tried to take care of my wife "RoxNsoX" and for that, I'm extremely thankful. Dont get me wrong...I truly enjoy the support shown to me...but if I had to choose, I would ask that all of it go to her. Yes, I'm over here w/o my family...but I've been in the army long enough, that I can keep my head held high in any situation.

She on the other hand, is there dealing with 2 kids...all alone. 2 kids, wondering where daddy is, and her not really being about to answer. Shes the one working hard here...and you have all been fantastic. Thank you all very much!!!

As for changes...its been a few months since I've really been on the forums...so I really cant say.

Anyway, thank you so so much everyone

I like MFT because its progressing towards getting thongs. hahaha

No but seriously. MFT has been a home for 6 years, not just an online source. It really does have a homey atmosphere that other forums lack. The people are nice, the mods are great and quick to respond with whatever action is needed wether it be a ban, a lock, or a simple answer to a question. You can't get much better with the staff selection here IMO. What i like most is that we have a dedicated admin, though mostly sneaky/ghostly behind the scenes, that works very hard to make the site what it is and i'd like to be as bold as to say we provide him back with a great community and hopefully a rendition of the site that he had in mind when he created it. Its nice knowing you can come here after work and relax and enjoy the hobby you love, and it doesn't have to be like a job or hassle to post. I also really like the color scheme, MFT classic! MFT is the epitome of a good ol small town. Its smaller then other forums, but still holds the great info and hospitality that can rival anyone.

I know you said "Or" up there but i must say that i'd really like to see a Paypal Donate button up there. I know most of us arn't rolling in money but even a dollar or two a month could help fund the site we love

I love this site ! The only suggestion I would have is to may be split up the freshwater and saltwater, in the classified up, so that people that are looking for certain things can find them faster. Other than that I think the site is great! Keep up the good work!

What about putting more saltwater forums, maybe split them up a bit like the freshwater section is. Just a thought. I am new to this board but already like it the people seem fantastic.

Sorry I thought I deleted this one before I posted the other one.
