Pseudotropheus Saulosi

A good beginner cichlid for those interested in African Cichlids. Males are electric blue with black stripes while females are bright orange/yellow. An Mbuna, it should be fed a diet of spirulina flakes and only what it can consume in under 2 minutes. Saulosi are less agressive then most Mbunas and rarely attain sizes over 3 inches. They can be kept in small groups, in tanks as small as a 30 gallons.

pH: 7.8 to 8.6
dH: 4.0-6.0
kH: 6.0-8.0
Temp: 76F to 85F (24C-29C)
Length 3-4"
