Default salt or freshwater?

ok im starting up an 18 gallon tank and i was wondering if i shud go with saltwater or freshwater bcause my favourite fish is the percula (dontknow how to spell that) clownfish and the fish in saltwater aquariums are generally more colourfull but im not too sure about are of this corral it really isnt my thing im in a predicament

ok my opinion on this is pretty shaky. I've never had a saltwater tank, couldn't afford it, but I got into fishkeeping because my favorite fish was the clownfish too to be perfectly honest, I think you should start with freshwater, since it's cheaper, and you can sort of learn from your mistakes, so that when you get your second tank (which you will!) you could go saltwater if you wanted, and wouldn't be risking spending so much money and making big mistakes. for me, at least for the time being, freshwater fishkeeping is plenty to keep me busy, and the fish are as gorgeous as any saltwater

wow that was quik u replied within 2 minutes of me puttin this up lol.

Yea my lfs also has a wider range of freshwater so i think il go fresh and wen i start working and bringin in the mulaa and get my own place i can get a big saltwater tank. yea that price thing is also a factor cheers 4 the insight.
