Post Charter Fish

I new to this. Can someone explain to me what the deal is with Charter Fish/small fish etc.

it was for the first 100 members. a special title cause YEARS from now when we have millions of members, people will know they were the first ones to build up this site. =)

i know we're over the 100th member mark but no worries. there are people who are charterfish but haven't posted so they will be demoted and people will be taking their place.

Ok! I see! So I guess Charter Fish/First Fish was the first member? Cool! Good idea about demoting too! No input, then its output!

Clothahump is a character in a series of books called "Spellsinger", written by Alan Dean Foster, more famous for "Alien".
He was a very knowledgable old wizard, who happens to be a turtle, with lots of secret drawers in his shell.  
I think it is pronounced Cloth A Hump. 8)
