Default Moors in ponds?

I just adopted the coolest Black Moor! She's about softball sized and so personable and tame. When I went to pick her up, she swam into her owner's hand. He wanted her to live in my garden pond, but I've read that the fancier fish should be kept indoors. I am hoping to get a 75 gallon this week. Would this be sufficient to properly house her (and maybe a couple other fantail varieties)? She was in a 40 breeder at her last home and her owner knew it was getting too small for her. For now, she's in the garden pond with my menagerie, but I want to do what's best for her.

Thanks! Vicky

She should be fine in a pond. Being black, she might be a littler harder to spot, so having her in an indoor aquarium with other fancies might make her more enjoyable for you.
