Dust/Dirt ?

Hey guys, on the surface of my water, inside of my betta's tank, there is a dust/dirt that just floats around constantly. it gets worse everyday, and i dont know what it is, or how to stop it! what do i do??

Nope, that was mine... if that's how yours looks MadridKid, let me know. I'll find the post where someone identified what it was and said how to solve the problem.

It's not really dust/dirt, but some sort of film that periodically develops.

My bad, didnt mean to call you "krissy", dont really know why i added the "r" in there...

So is this film caused most frequently by overfeeding, or decaying plant matter in the tank? any other common causes that we should watch out for?

That's really strange! And it's just on the surface and not floating around elsewhere? Are you sure you don't just have a lot of dust in that room, maybe from the AC?
