| So about a month ago i went to San Francisco for an Architecture school trip. One place we went to was the California Acdimey of science. It was so amzing! | It is an amazing place! We had our 2yo in tow when we went so we didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked. But would love to go again :-) One aspect I was especially amazed at was how all the aquariums were both visible from above water and below. That was great to see it from both perspectives.

| Yeah I told my friends that i would probably be awhile and would catch up later The skylights bring in a majority of the neccary lighting, and open up to regulate temp. There are tranparent solar panels in a covered area to produce electricity to suppliment lighting that is needed in winter and also the metal halides used in the saltwater reef area.I wish i had some sort of tripod so i could have taken better pictures, very dark in the whol area. I also loved how you got to see most everything from above and below. |
