Newman,

I figured that they like meat when my tanks got algae plastered and the plecos still only ate the shrimp pellets....the ones I KNOW eat algae are Common & B/N Plecos....

Oh, yes the Zebra is very expensive. I'm saving for one. IDK which tank it'll live in yet tho. I think the 52 would work out well for it since that tank will have:
1x German Blue Ram [FM]
9x Cardinal Tetras
9x Glowlight Tetras
6x Panda Cories
2x Galaxy B/N Plecos. Tho I'm fairly sure I want the 2 Dwarf Gouramis in here along with the FM Bettas.

I have a BN (cross) and an albino BN. I'd like to have a blue-eyed pleco or either a scarlet cactus pleco or a cactus pleco(L-024,L025). I have no idea where I would find those though and if I did I don't know if I'd want to pay the price.

About the price on plecos,
The bristlenose plecos cost AT LEAST $20 around here, the commons are $10.
Oh and I've never had plecos always had too small of a tank.
Oh and galaxy plecos are the coolest lil things !!!!!

Hi!

Eeek at those prices! My B/N's were 7$ each as was my Rubberlip Pleco & my clowns were 10$ each. The commons are a bit expensive running at 5$ for a juvie!

B/N's, Rubberlips, &, clown plecos would be perfect for your 20gal though...They aren't as big as the commons staying at or less then 6" in length!

Good luck if you can find a dwarf pleco at a good price!

Never forget the pitbull plecos. staying the same size as otos, and eating just about the same amount of algae, pitbulls are a good sub for otos in a tank.
