well german blue ram thing is over two expensive

these are very pretty. since my local fish store isnt stoking since next thursday it will be awhile till i get mine

disregard my disgruntled ness Two german rams in a 20 gal would be cool. good luck with em.
And bust your arse to get that 20 gal fully cycled and stable before adding them.

ya its cycling now but i put some water from my main tank in there to help it out

not jsut the water. put some sponge filter media in there as well as some gravel or a decoration or two from the established tank. put the gravel in a mesh if you dont actually want the color in your tank. then when its ready and you dont necessarily want all that stuff in that tank, then take the decor a gravel back to the original tank. be sure to not forget to add ammonia every now and then and test that water.

i used neutral 7.0 regulator with discus buffer. the discus buffer tells u the ratio to use of both. lowers ph and softens water at sametime my 37 has been at 6.4ph and only took two days to get it there seems like its stablized.
