| A small section of the silicone on my 55 is peeling up. Teh tank does not leak but I am concerned that it will continue to peel and cause a leak eventually. Do I have to reseal the whole seam, or can I just run a small bead on that section to stop it from peeling?

| Well kind of depends where its at on the tank. And also what you really want. I had the same thing happen one on just an old tank, and one on a tank I sat on something hard and dmg the seals under it. But if your you mean the actual inside the tank, Id re do all of it IMO because your going to have to take it all out anyways so.. might as well do it now.. then more later. If its on the outside you can just do that little part. I had an issue on the bottom black liner and I took it all off and replaced it.. But its up to you mostly. |

| I would fix it ASAP. My 10 gallon started to peel and the following week was leaking. I got so paranoid I took the whole tank down. I was afraid I'd come home from work and see a huge puddle of water plus all my fish.
