Default Pictures of my planted tank and shrimp

Not sure if this should be in the planted area or here, i have a lot of fish in there too. It's a 40 gal. a bit sratched up cause my turtle use to live in there. Now i have a bunch of tetra's and plants along with an algae clean up crew. I added a picture of one of my algae eating shrimp she is holding a bunch of eggs. I've heard that they attach to lava but won't mature with out brackish water. How long do they hold the eggs for? Two of them are doing this and seems like it's been a while. Everything seems happy in there fish are always playful the anubis flowers alot and everything grows pretty fast. I don't fertilize and my nirates are lower then my tap water, tap is 5ppm and tank barley registers. In two weeks i'm moving so i plan on do a through cleaning hopefully i can stay on top of tha algae now that i know what i'm doing.

Oh also i jsut got back from a 7 week trip so it didn't have DIY CO2 or any cleaning, friend just stopped by and feed them, didn't lose anything just some gross cleaning and plants out of control. the jungle vale was only in the back but has now decided to be a forground plant. All will be taken care of in the reset

Thanks every one,

Well in a few weeks i'm going ot be moving and this tank has been set up for a while so i'm going to give the whole thing a good cleaning.

The laceleaf java fern is trying to become ground cover so i'm going to trim that um and move stuff around a bit. Probably buy some short (3inch or so) grass i saw at the pet shop and let that become ground cover.
