Exclamation my tetra has a disease?! i have never dealt with something like this!

one of my tetras has a cloudy white spot on the red part near the tail fin. its spreading a little bit further every day (its been 2 days but still) i mmean i noticed it yesterday... but im not sure what to do. im really worried how do i handle it? is it sick? can i save it it without something that will harm my other fish?

Yes it is called white spot, you should buy some white spot remover from the same place you get your fish from it is a small tub a couple of drops in your tank should kill the disease and will stop it spreading.
it will be called anti-white spot.

No.

"White spot" is ich. Ich is not cloudy. Ich looks like somebody salted your fish.

It sounds like a fungal problem. First of all, what are your test readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? Poor water conditions can lead to illnesses such as this. I've had good success with PimaFix for fungal issues, in conjunction with frequent water changes to maintain water quality. Otherwise you'll need a stronger antifungal treatment.

Sounds like possible neon tetra disease to me.
