Post Midway through my 55g w/ 1 pic

Hey everyone. I'm just about midway through my 55g freshwater setup. I'm going with fake plants for ease (I eventually will do a planted tank), and I have all malaysian driftwood. Right now there are 8 Zebra Danio's and 8 Harlequin Rasboras. I plan to put in Neon Tetras, Mickey Mouse Platy, Penguin Tetra, and some Gold Barbs - I also plan on a Candy Stripe Pleco. Hopefully that'll give me a nice mix. However, I'm still open to some ideas, because I fear I'll have too many mid to top level swimmers and nothing on the bottom. The danios like to move around the tank, but the Rasboras are still too timid.

I have about 8 more plants to put in for cover and aquascaping, and my thoughts are to have a very full active community tank.

Tank pic is attached (sorry for the bad quality pic)

I'd bring that middle piece more to the front, maybe off-center; that will break up the straight line and let it appear more natural.

Tank looks nice so far. Maybe a black background might bring out the colors a little more.

Thanks for the comments so far. It's by far the best aquascaped tank I've done so far (that is until later when I buy my 180g for a nice saltwater!) tom91970 I thought about something with that smaller piece, and thought more plants around it would offset it, but I didn't think about bringing in more towards the front. I'll have to try that and see how it looks. If I bring that to the front, I'll have more room for some plants in the background.
