| Tank Plans Ok so we are moving in a couple weeks tops and my plans for the tanks are as follows.
90G-
17 Leopard Danios
7 Red Platies
6 Gold Rams
3 Spotted Leaf Fish
1 Black Angel (maybe more not sure yet)
1 Sailfin Pleco
1 Royal Pleco
30G -
12 Pristella Tetras (currently have 7)
3 Otos
1 Female Blue Cray
30G - (not yet purchased)
12 Black Neons
3 Otos
1 Male Blue Cray
Yes Im getting another 30G tank Cant wait. I figure its only fair to house the crays alike O and the Crays are currently residing in 2 temp tanks, a 2.5G and a 3G till the move, so I can set the tanks up properly for them.
2 Questions:
Is there a single larger fish that I could put in the 30G tanks?? If not can I add more Tetras safely??

| What about dwarf gouramis? I don't think their mouths are big enough to bother the cray.

| Pretty much any fish you put in there can end up being picked on by the cray. Fish it can't eat may end up with damaged fins. Just keep plenty of Melifix on hand. |

| Personally I wouldn't add anything other than maybe some more tetras to bulk up those current schools you already have; especially if you intend on breeding the crays.

BV | That's true. Do you have a growout tank if/when you get cray babies? If not, make sure all of your fish and crays would be able to fit into one of the 30 gallons, that way you can use the other 30 gallon as growout. You should be able to get away with at least 10 of each school.

| I dont currently have a grow out tank but will once the time comes. The Crays that I got from BV are still young. I guess that I will just stick with the tetra schools.

| I was just wondering about the spotted leaf fish you have listed for the 90g. I believe they'll eat your tetras (and other small fish) at some point.
For a larger shooling fish, you could consider rainbowfish. They're a really nice fish for larger tanks. |
