| *****.com D***hebags So I also joined another fish forum, *name removed* It's much larger, yet there is just about the same amount of knowledgeable people as this one. (kudos to MFT.net) I have to say, I was reading the section about Irredescent sharks and I was so sick with what people were posting in there. Owners of 15-30 gallon tanks housing 2 ID sharks complaining about it eating their other fish or dead spawns floating at their tanks.
How f***ing stupid can you be to house 2 ID sharks in a tank < 3 feet long let alone 1. People along with myself even made suggestions as to how large they can be and that it's bad to keep them in such small housing, and they come back with, I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING. It's so sick, if I was their fish I would bite off their hand if I ever got the chance. I don't know what the petstores are thinking selling these either... makes me so mad
Also I read the tiger barb forum and red tail shark forum a lot on there, more idiots. What people say just don't make sense, their tank setups are so poor and they take criticism poorly but really ask for it. Anyway just wanted to say this is the first forum I joined and probably the only forum I'll stay on, given everyone here is so knowledgeable <-- 2 way street.

| I started fish hobby in January. Didn't know much and was very glad I stumbled across MFT. I now have a few tanks that are doing great. Could not do this without MFT. This is the only place I come for advice and sometimes I am able to give advice now myself. And the people here are great. Tina

| MFT has to be the friendliest forum I've ever been on. I'm a member of several others that are pretty good, too, but there's a certain reef forum that I belong to that is chock full of rude, dispectful, and mean people.

| I came here because it was first on Google.
Being the first on Google means that this site gets the most hits, and is most relevant to search results, and that it is where most people frequent the most.
AKA best for your bet.
And you guys are awesome :P

| MFT helped me develop MTS
If I hadn't stumbled upon this forum and read through the wealth of information here... I probably would still have a 10 gallon tank with guppies, ghost shrimp, and a lot of fake plants and decorations. |
