I just FINALLY found it yesterday! Our local Wal mart didn't have it but found it at another WM in a bigger town. I done a 40% pwc to take out some of the coppersafe and salt and then added Jungle Parasite Clear today. So we'll see how it goes. I think he's already better anyway but still has alot of extra slime coat which leads me to believe he still is still being irritated. The only thing is I don't know how long to use this new med for. A week? 2 weeks?

Wouldn't regenrating slime coat be a good thing?

I have no idea about the slime coat thing. I'd like to know more about slime coat. I would think regenerating slime coat would be good. But what about over-production? What I mean by over production is that you can actually see it kind of floating away from the body until it sloughs off and you can literally see it floating in the water unattached to the fish. Hmm..maybe I need to do a google on slime coat.

I did when I first moved him to QT. But I know that there's been at least 2 partial water changes since then. Each one of about 40% each. So there's probably still a little salt in there but not alot.

That's all I could come up with was excessive salt. Are they getting better?

If unclamped fins is any indication of him getting better, then yes. I actually forgot how pretty he is when fully displaying!
