| Amano shrimp went blue for days then died... lol yup. Just as the title says? That's how it happened. He went quite blue- almost a baby blue- and stayed that way for a few days, nothing else about him sending up any flags to me. Eating, walking around, scrounging. Then this morning I found him dead. I am not overly surprised, but wondered if anyone else had their shrimp go blue then croak?

| I've had a few ghosties go blue, then die - which I found weird, b/c they'd typically go white then die. |

| yeah, beats me. He was blue while he was alive nf then he died... when he died he didn't curl up like every other shrimp I've had die, be sort of squated on the gravel, standing up. It was weird :/

| I've read that excess iron can make shrimp sick. I know you're dosing quite a bit, so perhaps that did him in.
Oddly, I still have Amano shrimp that I bought three years ago in my tanks. I think I have four of them from however many I bought (maybe eight). |
