| More room for new fish Soooo, time for something new! Here is the complete list of my tanks:
20g
3 Swordtails - Starlet (f), Smrt (f), and Neo (m)
3 Sword Fry - born Apr. 29 to Starlet
1 Sword Fry
4 Peppered Cories - Hobbes (f), Wasabi (m), Mini1+2 (?)
6.6g
1 Betta - Finfin (m)
2 Black Neon Tetras - bleh, they're just tetras
2 Snails - Bozo (?) and Turtle (?)
5g
1 Dwarf Puffer - Weebo (f)
2 Otos - Gabi (?) and Sonja (?)
The tetras are starting to die out, so I put them in with the betta in the "fry" tank. All the swords are in one tank with the cories. The four little swords are going to Petco soon, as I can not find anyone to take them. Anyway, if they go, I'll probably give the parents away as well, maybe. If I decide to carry through with this plan...what suggestions are there for a new type of fish I could try?
I was looking at discus but since my tank is only a 20g I figured it might be a little too small...
I've done all of the following fish:
Cories
Tetras
Ghost shrimp
Bamboo shrimp
Bettas
Otos
Snails (by accident)
Dwarf Puffer
Any suggestions for something new I could try? It would have to go well with cories.

| A pair of GBR's. Some say that they don't mix well with cories but I haven't had that prob at all. Out of all the fish I've owned so far, GBR's have been the best. Second fave is my dwarf gourami. You might could try one of those too instead of the gbr's.

| Yeah I've heard the same thing about rams and cories, but find it to be false. I would personally put a school of long finned black skirts with a ram centerpiece in a 20g.

| Oh lets see if you got rid of the swordtails and the boring corys of moved the cories out id get a breeding pair of jewel cichlids for the dang 20gal.
Or just get rid of the cories to be replace with a Bumblebee cat with a pair of kribenis and some Tiger barbs.

| I think she really likes her cories. They've bred for her and she's put alot of TLC into them. Am I wrong Kissy?

| i kept GBRs wit cories. just have somewhere the cories can retreat
a dwarf gourami will add some color
black skirts tend to be a little aggressive sometimes when it comes to eatin and pickin on other fish ive noticed.

| THE CORIES ARE STAYING PUT.
Roark is right, too much work for nothing if I give them away. Plus, they're cute.
I don't like cichlids in the first place...so...no cichlids.
Rams aren't a bad idea though...

| Rams are Cichlids!
I would totally suggest a quartet of Yoyo loaches (mine get on fine with my cories) but eventually they'd out grow a 20G

| Oops, I meant the parrotfish kind of cichlids. I find those rather ugly.
And I want to go with something that won't out grow the tank. I'll be going to college after next year and don't want to have family members have problems with overgrown fish!

| You could do some rams and some zebra danios, or maybe some dwarf gouramis!
