Default Type of gravel in a 55

When I had my 125 up and running, I used the gravel from my local Home Improvement Store. It was only about $3.00 per 50# bag. It did not seem to hurt any of the fish I had.
Now that I am getting my supplies ready for my soon to arrive 55, should I just go get another bag or so of the same Pea Gravel, or should I stay with my LFS and pay the $16 + per bag? Is there really any kind of difference between a bag of gravel from the LFS and a home improvement store?

Thank you Tom, I di go through the wash cycle with three bags for the 125 gallon some years ago. It was a huge project. As you say, time was cheap for me. The one thing I did not do was sort through the rock for the different materials. I guess I was either extremely lucky, or did not have that tank running long enough to have anything break down on me.
Maybe just as well to go ahead and spend the money right off the start and not worry about the sorting. My eyes are not what they were 12 years ago when I did it.

IMHO less is better... cleen cheep in small amounts.. you can add gravel to seasioned gravel. less is easier to clean and you will find your water will stay clearer with fewer cleaning's
