|  roark fishies, I sold out about 12 years ago due to a disability injury with my job. I had so many drugs, that I could not handle my tanks. 12 years later, I am still missing my hobby and am now getting back into it. I would have done it some years ago, but the wife and I designed this house and had it built just 6 1/2 years ago. I understand about the plants. We are still planting and planning even after the 6+ years. It never stops. I feel I will get back into multiple tanks once I get this 55 set up. I have two other places in the house picked out already for 30 gallon tanks. The fish calm me down more then all the drugs the doctors were pumping in me when I got hurt!
__________________ 55 gallon now cycling. Will update as soon as it is able to have fish! 5 goldfish in 100 gallon pond along with a new monster Plecostomus. |

| As long as the spouse and wallet doesn't mind, I see no prob with MTS!! Go for it.

| I think I will focus on the one tank for a while. If the wife decides to go with another for the pond fish this winter, I will be there to support "her" decision.

| Just make sure that you are in control of your hobby, and that your hobby is not in control of you. If that happens it is time to downsize. Also... if you are the type of person who really gets into a project and goes nuts with it (I'm that way), and then a few months or year later you aren't excited about it anymore then you want to slow down. Do not overdose of Fish Tanks. Take it easy and pace yourself. And above all: do not let your hobby control you. At that point it is a stress and needs to be removed. Jonathan
