hahaha Sorry man- I didn't realize it would be a sticky. Thanks a bunch for posting it for me though. I am going to give it a thorough reading over and see if it is right for me .

In a few hours I think I will be posting up my current CO2 levels to see where I'm at.

Well I got a KH of 11 and pH of 7.6 giving a little over 8ppm CO2... now get this.

The pH reading was a lighter blue- so when I was diffusing underneath the powerhead and having bubbles make it to the surface I had KH 12 and pH of over 7.6. Now I have it going into the filter and I am at KH 11 and pH of 7.6... so my pH dropped a bit which means more CO2 right? But my KH dropped as well...

Any one care to help me interpret?

The KH and PH relationship is a poor way to measure co2 ppm. I would try for a DC with 4dkh and bromo blue to get accurate results. No guessing no fuss, just the good stuff you want to know.
