adding anymore fish will not help cycle. it'll just cause casualties.
research the fish that peak your interest while you wait for your tank to finish cycling.
(race you! I'm going to start a fishless cycle on my 5 gallon today! We'll see who gets to the finish line first!! )

| I'll nix the tiger barbs. I do like the cherry barbs they are pretty but I have heard they are shy. So the cherries along with the kuhlis and the clown, which I'm sure he'll do a fair bit of hiding, my tank may look kind of empty.
big54bob do you not like rasboras? and roark fishies you don't like cories? Two of my favorite fish :P I have some corys, love 'em and I"m down to one rasbora but he is like 5 years old.

| lol, so harsh. I was never interested in rasboras because at the pet stores there just really isn't anything striking about them, very dull colors. But then my 70 came with some harlequins and they were very pretty, deep red colors and they are pretty active fish.

| OH NO! I love my cories! It's just that if you are looking for fish with personality they are probably not the best way to go. I like fish that swim up to me if I approach the tank. The cories tend to go the opposite direction as me. When these die I'd probably get more. The cherry barbs are the ones I'd probably avoid ever buying again.

| lol, okay I agree there, corys are not the most friendly of fishes, they are cute when you have a bunch, but mine tend to stay far away from me too.
I also found some five banded barbs, they look like tigers but they aren't fin nippers. Might get some of those.

| I think I have decided on what fish I want, Some Kuhlis, a clown pl*co, a pair of angels, a few five banded barbs, and some black skirt tetras. I haven't worked out how many yet because I figure my list is going to change by the time my tank is cycled.

| Never heard of five banded barbs. Or a clown pleco. So I googled them. Sounds like that would be an interesting setup.
