| I figured I'd get like 6 kuhlis, surely I would see one? Anyway I tend to pick the anti social type fish, when my 29 and 10 was set up you could not even tell I had fish because they hid all the time. But I figure I will have other fish that I will be able to see. Either way I am having difficulty finding kuhlis in my area, hmm.

| I got my 55g set up and cycling and I was thinking more about stocking and these are fish that I have thought about Kuhlis, Corys, redtail or redfin shark, harlequin rasboras, red eye or congo tetras, pictus cats, angelfish, or festivum.
I don't want these ALL in the tank, these are a few species that I like, I don't really know how many and what kind would all get along in my tank. I know I definitely do want kuhlis. Any other ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

| lol, the only problem I have is pl*cos is it hard to find anything that isn't a common pl*co, though I do like those clown pl*cos, I would definitely add one of them. I think I am just partial to striped fish .

| Will this work? If I had 6 Kuhlis, 1 clown pleco, 2 angelfish, 8 harlequin rasboras. Will these fish get along alright? Any other ideas or substitutions with this list?
Or maybe some lemon o black skirt tetras or zebra danios? Or a couple of pictus cats. Or instead of angels get 4 festivums. Or Tiger barbs, but I hear they can be aggressive, would they cause many problems? Oh my god there are so many choices...

| Angels get big enough to eat small tetras and danios. I don't know from experience but that's what I hear.
If you go with one of the sharks go with the redfin. Also called rainbow shark. The redtail is different and more aggressive. I'd avoid cories if you go with a shark. Someone said cories are boring and I hate admitting it but they are right. They are cute as can be and are good at clean up but they are very shy. So you don't get to see much of their personality.
I've never had tiger barbs but I love the look of them. Most everyone says get a large school (8-10 or more?) and they keep the aggression in the school.

| Dont bother with Tiger barbs. I watched a school wipe out a poppulation of feeder guppys.
Id say your first stocking is ok. Id replace the Rasboras with 12 columbian tetras and 6 Cherry barbs.

| Cherry barbs have great color. Even the females. The only problem is I rarely see mine. They stay hidden among the plants and caves.
