My bateries just died, so i'll have to wait until tom.

I might start an african tank in the very distant future. What would be a good starter size for a decent african colony?

Male, blue is around the spot not saturating inside of it.

I would say that you have a male and female by those pics.. as matt says.. the blue spots need to saturate the black spot. extremely nice looking rams!

Hmm...i think i would go with male and female too. I was thinking both female but now i think 1 is a male.

Matt- Look at the Black spot in the pic. above. Look at where the edges are. Do you see blue specs inside the spot? Look at the belly. Is there a redish-pinkish taint to it?

We are right...Matt is wrong
There are definatly some light blue spangles inside her blue/black spot AND she has a pink belly...so shes definatly a female

Those cropped pics of the male really show the dorsal of it and it is a male for sure!
