tanks looks awsome! Awesome job on the DIY stand and canopy. Personally not a fan of shelfs(I don't see the point in shelfs!). Other then that Looks good. Are you thinking of painting the stand and canopy cuz in the pics it looks like you have not painted them yet! And you have already started with the setup. Just wondering!!

How are the tires holding up? I have some I saved when I scrapped my RC Truck specifically to use for my nephew's tank. I notice yours seem to be a little washed out looking, what's that from?

Nice tank!

The whilte you see on the tires is Algea or slime. I builds up about every 1 to 2 weeks. When I do water changes I clean them. They have not fallen apart or rotted they have been in one of my tanks for abut 4 months now. I added them now so I could get the bacteria off of them.

The water is clearing up Hopefully it will be clear tomorrow.

Talking Clear Water

The water has finally Cleared up. I think I had a bacteria Bloom that kept it cloudy for a extra couple of days. Here are the pics. Not much has changed but you can see it now.

The tires are from a RC car that my bro broke.

That shelf looks familiar!!! In such a large tank, you could have made it a lot bigger!

Panther - I put a shelf in my tank, and believe it or not, it seems to add more "swimming room" for the fish. I have it in a 20H, and it always seemed like there was a lot of wasted space going up, so I added a shelf, now some hang out below it, and some swim around above it.
