|  How many red bellied piranhas.... How many piranhas could i keep in a 90 gallon aqaurium (48" 18" 25"  im guessing 7 does anyone else have any suggestions?? And how many do you think i could keep in a 55 gallon?? (48" 12" 23" |

| Re: How many red bellied piranhas.... Well, they get 6-8 inches long. I would plan your tank based on the biggest adult size. So in a 90 gallon tank, that is about 11 fish. In a 55 you could have 6 fish. The young fish have to be raised together, because they are intolerant of new members, so you should get them all at once. Jan

| Re: How many red bellied piranhas.... i would agree with jan's answer, i keep 4 in 45 high for sometime before i had to see them and they did quite well
