i was wondering if it was okay to put red-eared slider turtles in with  my other fish.

if i'm not mistaken, don't turtles eat fish? i guess if it fits in it's mouth, it'll probably go in. but then i'm not a turtle expert.  ;D

NO! My turtles used to eat goldfish for food. They also eat little guppies.

I have guppies in with my RES she does eat them. One got kinda big now and I think its too big for her to eat. Turtle tanks are hard enough to keep clean why would you want to add fish as well (besides feeders)?

Red eared sliders are very agressive turtles. Do not put them together with any "bite size" fish unless you are feeding them and dont put them with any fish that just lay around like plecos or gobies. I have two baby red eared sliders and they actually killed a 4 inch longnose gar and ate it and they are working at getting my goby. He just lays around on the bottom and they attack him. I also have a largemouth bass and a large bluegill in the tank, but they move around too much for the turtles. Hope I was of some assistance to you.
