how expensive are the fish and what species. the express will just get to you faster. = less stress.

Post Re: shipping fish

I have bought many fish on aquabid and have always had them shipped overnight.  Bettas could probably handle priority...but Id rather not risk it.  I have had 3 shipments....each shipment containing multiple bettas, and They have all been alive so far!  I think the extra money is worth it.  Much less stress on the fishies

i don't know anything about them but i'd spend the extra 18 cause you don't want a dead fish being delivered to you

As long as the fish are packed correctly.25%water 75%oxygen they will last up to 48 hours.
The only thing to be careful of is when unpacking them, let the light in to the container slowly, the fish are disorientated, they do not even know which way is up.  8)

Doesn't the place where you bought them give a live at your door guarantee?
