Must admit was a bit shocked at the response i got in the discus forum.I have kept tropical fish for 15 years and have never been spoken to like that.I wasn't trying to be an expert just my opinion which i thought thats what forums were about.

Yep, I remember when I was a complete newbie to the fish world i posted a link to a picture with dyed blood parrots (about 50 of them for sale because I thought all the colours looked cool (I didn't know anything about fish dye or its effects, I just thought it was their natural colour). Then a guy started flaming me for it but some of the other members came to my rescue lol. Some people take advice and some people are so stubborn they turn their back on it because it isnt what THEY want.
