Post Slime

Oh yeah, question #2.

I just put in a large, very porous rock into the tank. I washed it off pretty well, but the next day I noticed several patches of a white, wavy slime. I took it out and rinsed it off. I would like to know what this is and how harmful it might be. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Post Re: Slime

It is a bacterial fungus which clears up on its own. My drift wood had the same thing which it went away in a week or so.
