Post fluval 4 help

ok i bought a fluval 4 for my turtle tank. it is WAYY to strong (the output) any ideas on how i can difuse the output?

You could put sponges on the input/output tubes lik the thick ones used for washing floors. Make a hole in the middle and stick the tube in. You can cut the sponge down to size if need be. Doesnt Fluval have a control valve?? The Filstar does. If sponges dont work Im sure someone else has a suggestion.

its not a canister filter. its a submersible filter

Get yourself a small length of hose and a spray bar, return the water via this and you will cut down the flow. 8)
