Why is one of my ghost shrimp turning white. Parts of its skin is white. It molted a few weeks ago and even then it wasn't white. Also is it possible for a ghost shrimp to eat itself to death.

My ghost shrimp get a little white on them too. I think it is just a sign that they are healthy and are in there mating colors. As for the shrimp eating itself to death, I'm pretty sure they, like other fish, can become consipated and die from to much food.
