Kenny's 10gal - The Replacer!!

LOL - This tank's actual name is "Illusions II ["1" cracked]", but it replaced my 5.5, so, I wanted to start my journal on monitoring my "Collectoris"; a disease know by fellow plant keepers as the inability to STOP collecting plants! *BOUNCINGS

Plants ARE:
Red Root Floater [has maroon colored roots; wildly collected -- Yes, I got **REALLY** sick from collecting it] *sigh*
Floating Fern
Duckweed
Riccia
Blyxa Japonica[doing well without 2 ghost shrimp eating eat...They ate my last bunch, the goldfish ate them...]
Dwarf Babies Tears
Cabomba Caroliniana [very unhealthy, hated floating...whoops...1 single strand:rolleyes:]
Asian Ambulia
Rotala Indica [turning purple again!!*SUPERSMIL]
Ludwigia Repens
Bacopa Caroliniana [Very Small Piece!]
Potamogeton Gayi
Hydrocotyle Leucocephala
Rotala 'Nanjenshan'
What I'm pretty sure is Stargrass.

All that...AND, I want MORE! LOL

1x Male Veiltail Betta

& Tons of Snails

Px will be up S-O-O-N...but for now, I'm watching the plants pearl under 40W CF...so 4WPG. Co2 is definitely in the future!

My ~30 gallon Gold-fish tank

Okay, I am not a fish-tank enthusiastic or something, My dad had to bring two gold fish a year ago for my sis as she threatened to bring a dog, she never cared bout this gold fish after a month and I was forced to take care. This were almost 1+ inch babies .

This gold fish have rapidly grown in size ( I am newbie so i dont know rate of growth) in this 13-14 months , All i did was make sure small 3 gallon tank was clean and they were fed properly, I regularly use to feed them blood worms every week or two, they used to go crazy on that, I loved it.

Now after a year , the small round tank started feeling like they were going around in tea-cup. so i was forced to make room for big tank, bring a huge table and get this large Tank. I then got Golden-sand (by instinct i washed it multiple times and then put it in tank) then added plants and put filters in it, then bulbs came, after full day of running it on, I introduced the fishes in this tank. (Its just instinct i did this, I was later told by tank-guy that if i had introduced the fish straightaway in new tank without running oxgygen for long time, they would had probably died).

So rate-my-tank :) , please please please give me tips of what i can do better. and what new fish should i add if i can .

I tried to add two red-cap goldies but 1 simply got sick and died in two days , Now i know i should quarantine first for some days before putting fish in big tank. Again rookie mistake.

(I have no time for this really, i am amazed how easily I got drawn into this. I am linux sys-admin and programmer)

My ballin 20gal

So all you old farts are wondering"DOES THIS GUY EVEN HAVE ANY FISH?" I still have my 20gal which is very ballin with the 4 fish that live in there.

I have ditched bettas and went from a crap load of fish to 4 fish, a mouse, and some soon to be GTFs.

So this is Clyde

And these are her friends.

This is Phantom. She is turning out to be a pretty girl. She is got to be a year old.

This is Mrs. Bristles, She is my most active pl*co. I see her out 60% of the time. She did have a mate but she ate him unfortunately.

All for one and one for all

Home time! I redid it to give more swimming room for clyde.

Kenny's 55gal - Constant Work in Progress

Well, soon, I'm hoping to have school D-O-N-E FINALLY!!, so, I'm going to start saving up, and fixing up this 55gal I have.

Most of this fish will be moving eventually, but, I'm going to see what I can do about keeping some of these plants in here.

Here's the general look of it now, before it gets tore down soon.

Well, I resetup this tank yesterday! I've been thinking of ideas for it and have come to the conclusion that....IT HAS NO FISH!! LOL

Right now, it's just some Java Moss, 2 Crypt Pontederiifolia's, 1 Anubias Nana, &, 2x Green Hygros...

I'm going to have a picture up in a little while, but wanted to get this thread going.

I'm going to go do a 90% WC on it and tidy it up.

But, until I get some px up, can you guys give me some good ideas for fish?

New 55 under construction and mini patio pond

Works in progress. Next step is to add plants to the 55. Just keeping it simple with an assortment of anubias's, some african fern, and taiwan moss.

Outdoor tank i still need to build a mini waterfall but will probably hold off on that till spring.
