Default Re Siliconing a tank

Is this hard to do? Are there any good tutorials or helpful hints out there?

I have the opportunity to get a rather large Hexagonal Tank, but the silicone leaks on it. If it won't kill me to do it, I'd like to attempt to redo the silicone.

Thanks!
