Default Lighting my 150 gallon

I have a tall 150 gallon. 30" or so tall. I have the standard 4' light that came with the tank but it just doesn't seem to make the tank bright. Everything has light on it, it just seems dim at the bottom. The guy that had it before me had the 4' light and 2 2' lights, I guess to solve the problem. I really do not want it to look like crap.

Any cheap(er) ideas??

30" is pretty deep. The new cool thing is T5 lighting, you can get retrofit kits that arn't priced too bad. but if you are just looking for a little more light and extra 4' lamp might be the cheapest.
