Post Lighting with T8s

I decided to switch all my T12 lightings to T8s.  T8 lighting is more efficient in terms of light production, saving money (electricity bills), and take up less space on my hood.  The only place to get them was to get it from a commercial lighting store.  A T8 ballast cost me 25 bucks and I can hook up 4 48"bulbs.  I will be using the same fixture as the old T12 shoplights I have but just switching the ballast.  I am going to have to special order the T8 (32 watt) fluorescent bulbs probably 6700 K because most stores like homedepot don't carry them except for in cool whites and <4000K.
I will tell you how it looks once in place.  I might even try to put 6 T8 lamps on my 60 gallon for a total of 172 watt.  Searching the net, it says that a 32 W T8 is much more efficient than a 40 W T12 because of it's small size and less restriking of light towards the bulb.
I think I should get a digital camera too to post some results but those can be expensive.
