Post BUILDING A STAND FOR A 80-125 GAL

IS THERE ANYONE THAT HAS BUILT A STAND FOR A 80-125 GAL TANK? I WANNA PURCHASE ON BUT WOULD LIKE TOO MAKE A STAND AND A HOOD TOO KEEP THE EXPENSES DOWN. PLEASE HELP IF U CAN

It depends on how good you are and how experienced you are with tools and carpentry. There are different methods to use. You can go with a metal stand or a wood stand. The dimensions can be whatever you really want. One consideration is cleaning the tank. If it is too high, you might need a ladder to clean the glass or do any other maintenance. If it is too low, it will be hard to watch the fish without having to kneel down. There are many people who have their designs on the web. Good luck, take your time and design it out. Dont rush it otherwise you might not be happy with it. The main thing is to have fun. It is a hobby after all.  miley*
