Unhappy Twitching Pleco

I have an older pleco who has started "twitching" every few seconds. Looks like a mini-seizure or a "hiccup". I performed water tests and they all are ok. I can't find any info on this so I'm hoping someone can help.

Ich. In a fish that size there is enough surface area on the gills that all the Ich can live there (where they prefer it) and none will have to settle for the body. Plecos tend not to "scratch" like most fish. It sounds like a parasite.

I totally agree with you, it sounds like a parasite in the gills. Many medications are good for all parasites. good luck,
