Discus tankmates?

OK, be gentle with me here, but I just have to ask! I just stumbled on a local discus breeder. They're so pretty, but I don't have room for another big tank. Do they have to be species only? If I replaced my 55g with something huge (125?), could I house them with angels?

So many fish, so little house...

you should be fine putting a discus in with angels. i have my discus with two angels and they get along fine. they pick at each other here and there but other than that their best buddies i refer to them as the three stooges lol. I also recently bought a pair of german blue rams they only get up to three inches and make great tank mates.
